Over the years, my work has evolved in many ways.
When I first started speaking and coaching, I was drawing heavily from my experience as an athlete and my own personal journey. As time has gone on, my perspective has deepened through the people I’ve worked with, the challenges I’ve faced, the books I’ve written, the teams I’ve collaborated with, and life itself.
And while many things about my work have evolved over the years, one thing hasn’t changed:
My desire to help people connect more authentically, lead more courageously, and appreciate themselves and others more deeply.
That’s something I’ve been reflecting on lately as we launch my new website.
On one hand, it’s simply a new website. A refreshed look. An updated platform. A place to better organize and share my work, my speaking programs, my podcast, my books, and the resources we’ve created over the years.
But on another level, it feels symbolic of something many of us experience in life and leadership:
The challenge of evolving…without losing yourself.
Because growth doesn’t mean becoming someone completely different.
In fact, some of the healthiest growth happens when we become more fully ourselves. More honest. More aligned. More intentional about how we live, work, and lead.
Sometimes we think evolution means reinvention. That we have to throw everything away and start over.
But in my experience, real growth is often about building on what matters most, not abandoning it.
It’s about asking:
📍 What’s still true for me?
📍 What values continue to guide me?
📍 What do I want to carry forward into this next season?
As leaders, professionals, parents, partners, and human beings, we’re all evolving all the time.
Our roles change. Our priorities shift. We learn. We fail. We grow. We see the world differently than we did five or ten years ago.
And hopefully, if we’re paying attention, we become a little wiser, a little more grounded, and a little more compassionate along the way.
But even as we evolve, there’s often a deeper thread running through our lives, something essential that remains steady underneath it all.
For me, that thread has always been connection.
Helping people feel seen. Helping teams build trust. Creating spaces where people can be real, grow together, and perform at their best.
That mission hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s become even clearer to me over time.
So as we launch this new site, I’m feeling grateful, not just for how my work has evolved, but for the people who’ve been part of the journey along the way.
And it’s made me think about all of us.
Where in your life are you evolving right now?
And how can you continue growing without losing touch with who you truly are?
We’re all in this together.
