My guest on this podcast was Will Marré. This episode aired in January of 2018, we recorded the interview in December of 2017. Will sadly passed away suddenly in February of 2018. I am still shocked and am so sad…the world lost a bright light.
Will was a passionate women’s leadership advocate. He worked for over 25 years helping corporations like Gap Inc., Nike, GE, and Johnson & Johnson create cultures of inclusiveness. During our discussion, Will shared the history of women in the corporate system, why male behaviors are favored in the hierarchal structure, and why the system needs to change in order for a corporation to flourish. He also shared five things women and men can do to create a workplace with a higher emotional intelligence and equal gender opportunity.
