For us to succeed individually and collectively, it’s important to be able to put forth the necessary effort and work hard. However, feeling the pressure and expectation of constantly hustling (i.e. hustle culture) can be incredibly dangerous and damaging. On this episode I talk about the paradox of this phenomenon, and ways we can be conscious, healthy, and effective in how we work and live.
Some of our emotions are easier for us to feel than others. We tend to avoid certain feelings, especially the ones that seem hard, scary, and not all that socially acceptable. However, being able to feel all of our emotions authentically is one of the most important and liberating things we can do for ourselves, our relationships, and for our personal and professional wellbeing. On this episode I talk about how we can stop blaming our feelings on the people and circumstances around us, and I share some specific ways we can start feeling our emotions with a greater level of depth and ownership.
