Mike Robbins Introduction
Mike Robbins is an expert in teamwork, communication, and the power of appreciation. He delivers keynote addresses, seminars, and coaching programs for some of the top organizations in America.
Through his speaking, coaching, and consulting business, based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Mike empowers his clients to work together, communicate effectively, and produce extraordinary results.
Prior to his speaking and coaching career, Mike was drafted by the New York Yankees out of high school, but turned the Yankees down and chose instead to play baseball at Stanford University where he pitched in the College World Series.
He then played baseball professionally in the Kansas City Royals organization until an injury ended his career while he was still in the minor leagues. After baseball, Mike worked in advertising sales and business development for two Internet start-up companies, before starting his own consulting firm in 2001.
He is a member of the National Speakers Association and has worked with clients such as Apple Computer, Chevron, AT&T, Wells Fargo Bank, Kaiser, and many others. Mike and his work have been featured in Forbes, on the Oprah and Friends radio network, and on ABC News.
He is a contributing author to the Chicken Soup for the Soul series of books, and the author of the best-selling book, Focus on the Good Stuff: The Power of Appreciation.
